Daïf – Souls Of Dead Ravers EP

Frenchman Daif used to turn out a pretty consistent stream of tunes back in 2018 and 2019 but it's been almost since then that we heard from him. The good news is he is back and as good as ever on this new EP for Art of Dark. It's a varied offering that takes in several different sounds with equal style. There's an acid-laced electro-breakbeat to kick off with then some squelchy cosmic techno with a hint of 90s energy on 'Neutronix Inhaler' while 'Pipe Masters' is a neon tech house cut with a great sample and acid bass. 'Space Traveler' ends with some strong 80s vibes as it bounces its way up through the stars.
